Corey understands that after carefully processing material the last thing you want is your product damaged in transit. In addition to the normal bundling of bars for shipment Corey has the capability to individually tube, individually collar, paper wrap the bundle, box or any combination of these options depending upon customer preference.

Additionally, there are certain common loading procedures, illustrated below, that aid in preserving customer material in transit and/or facilitate unloading.

PROCEDURE		BENEFIT
Bulkheads [A]		Prevents telescoping of bundles and helps maintain the integrity of the  bundles.  They are placed in front of and/or behind bundles.  Bulkheads are approximately 86 inches wide by 1-1/2 inches thick by 15 inches high. Required for all loads.
Blocking [B]		Provides sufficient clearance to unload the bundles, prevents contact with the trailer bed (preserves critical surface finish) and helps to preserve bar straightness.  Blocks are placed on the trailer bed under the bundles.  Required for all loads.  Blocks should be 4 inches square and up to 92 inches long.
Spacers [C]		Facilitate unloading and help to ensure bundle integrity.  Spacers are vertically placed between bundles.  Spacers are used as requested by the customer.  Spacers come in various sizes.
Chain Protection		Preserves surface finish.  Chains must not come into direct contact with material.  When using nylon straps, ensure that the chain component also does not contact material.  Required for all loads.
Tarps		Protects against moisture and preserves surface condition.  Bars are highly sensitive to moisture.  Required for all loads.  All tarps must be dry, free of holes and secured before leaving our dock area.
